The Remains of the Past

My last critique before I end my Deviantart account goes to you so Here goes
First off , this image is So beautiful it has a sense of loneliness to it but at the same time it has a flicker of hope as well the contrast is spot on with the black and white, Highlights where they should be shadows as well the background is smooth and shot in a perfect place so it doesn't take away from the subject and the depth of field is spot on. The only thing I would say that I would have liked to see in this image is the flower being to the side like the rule of thirds instead of the dead center but that's just my personal opinion would look better that way. it looks great the way it is but it might show a different perspective done that way too.

Vision: 5 stars because you knew what you were going for and achieved that in the image

Originality: 3.5 stars I've seen flower pictures like this before so originality wise it's been done before, still great and a lovely picture and well executed.

technique: 4.5 stars you did great with your technique, would have liked to see the flower positioned to the side versus the middle but it's still all in all spot on with everything, in focus,vibrant detailing So I give you 4.5 rating on that.

Impact: 5 stars because it's very emotional piece the sense of loneliness grabs your heart and yet the flicker of hope through the lights and highlights grabs your soul.
