Awh, this is such an adorable shot! You've captured such a sweet, innocent side of the kitten, excellent work! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="20" height="20" alt="" title="Clap"/>

I'm going to try a little different style of formatting for this critique, hope it's not too harsh or anything. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="" title="Heart"/>

Vision - I think you had a great concept with this photo! I get the feeling that the cat is watching something in the distance, which makes me wonder about it and notice even more details.

Originality - I only gave you three stars for originality, because there are a ton of cat photos pretty similar to this. There's really nothing that makes it extremely unique, though the black and white was a good choice.

Technique - The focus is wonderful, the shallow DoF works really well with this photo. The cat is in focus while the soft background makes the details even more sharp and clear. I also like how you filled the frame, though it is a bit crowded. Perhaps you could've zoomed out to capture the whiskers and ears as well.

Impact - The eyes are so intense, they really add to the photo and make it more interesting. I love how the atmosphere is so dynamic and soft at the same time. Great work! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="26" height="17" alt="" title="Love"/>
